They are widely used in drug Discovery for a varies of viruses like HCV, HBV, HIV, and Coronavirus to target either RNA dependent RNA polymerases, DNA dependent DNA polymerases, reverse transcribe DNA polymerases. We are also able to synthesize 5&#8242;-O-tetraphosphate, 5&#8242;-O-pentaphosphate, 5&#8242;-O-hexaphosphate, 5&#8242;-O-nonaphosphate, and 5&#8242;-O-polyphosphate nucleotide analogues.
